“What About Your Dreams?” - one of the poems from my book, Transition: Breaking Through the Barriers, will be featured in the upcoming independent film “Speedsuit Powers.”

“Speedsuit Powers” is also the name of my 2nd book, a young adult novel about a 14 year old boy who moves from the suburbs to the inner city and encounters a school bully who is determined to make his life miserable. The novel was released in 2009 and we are now producing it as an independent film.

“What About Your Dreams?” is a hard-hitting poem that questions the reality of merely living to survive vs. discovering your purpose and living “out of” that sense of significance. The poem has resonated with readers of Transition, so it was included in the Speedsuit Powers novel and now the film; playing a major roll in the arc of the story.
